Did you know that you can Run for Mercy in any race?
On September 25, six Mercy supporters formed Team Mercy in the Inaugural Nashville Women’s Half Marathon in downtown Nashville, Tennessee. After picking up their race packets the day before the event, they enjoyed a team pasta dinner at The Old Spaghetti Factory. On the morning of the race, these ladies showed up ready to go with their hot pink Run for Mercy t-shirts and a lot of team spirit! After a group photo, they were off to run 13.1 miles around the streets of Nashville through downtown, Centennial Park and Belmont Boulevard. Team member Andrea Fall said that what she most enjoyed was “running with a purpose in a local women’s event for something that helps so many women across the country.”

After the race, they picked up their hard-earned race medals and enjoyed some snacks. They were so excited to share a little about Mercy Ministries with other runners who asked about the bright pink Mercy shirts. Team member Erin Stryker said, “I believe in the vision of Mercy, and this was a great experience! I’m always happy to participate in Run for Mercy events, and I hope to do many more in the future.”

Thank you to Andrea Fall, Angie Kites, Paige Presley, Erin Stryker and Melanie Blair for supporting Mercy Ministries at the Nashville Women’s Half Marathon!
