Training Tip #1 for the Run for Mercy 5K & Family Walk
by Dr. Josh Axe
Wellness Physician & Radio Show Host

1. Eat real food not fake food.

To get your body in 5K shape, start eating real foods that come from nature--the foods God intended us to eat! Replace packaged, processed food filled with chemicals, additives and preservatives, with fresh vegetables, fruits, beans, nuts & seeds and organic meats and eggs. These real foods will have the most antioxidants, vitamins, minerals, enzymes and other nutrients for optimal health. They will also help boost your energy levels as you train for your 5K. For more information on real foods vs. fake foods, check out my blog post about it!
